The National Police is investigating the rape of a 21-year-old woman in Alcalá de Henares this Saturday.
The young woman, of Spanish nationality, was on a dirt path surrounding the Primo de Rivera barracks, which houses the Emergency, Shelter, and Referral Center for migrants, when a man pounced on her, hit her, and sexually assaulted her.

The sexual assailant fled after the attack on the young woman.
According to El Mundo and confirmed by EFE from the National Police Headquarters, after the assault, the young woman managed to ask for help from a man passing by the area, who then called the police.
Following this, medical assistance arrived, she was taken to the hospital, and the protocol was initiated.
The assailant is still not detained, but according to the Headquarters, since the Paratrooper Brigade barracks has many exterior images, «the arrest will be quite imminent».
