
Rehabilitation works on two beams of a structure in an underpass on the A-2 will cause traffic disruptions as it passes through Alcalá de Henares starting this Friday, with cuts scheduled at different times until Monday, April 28.
This information was shared by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility in a statement, indicating that the concessionaire of this road will carry out the work on the pass connecting the commercial areas of La Dehesa and Cuadernillos (km.33.95).
Therefore, between 11:00 pm this Friday and 8:00 am on Saturday, April 26, drivers will find the A-2 closed towards Madrid between kilometers 33.3 and 35.4.

To facilitate traffic flow, an alternative route will be set up via an exit at 35 of the highway towards the capital, following the service road to junction 33 of the same highway. Similarly, between 8:00 am on Saturday and 6:00 am on Monday, April 28, the left lane of the A-2 will be closed, diverting traffic to the adjacent lanes.
In parallel, a complete closure of the underpass located at kilometer 33.95 will take place. These detours will be carried out using the service road to junction 35 for vehicles heading towards Zaragoza. Once the change of direction is made, they can proceed on the service road towards Madrid.
For vehicles heading towards Madrid, an alternative route will be set up via the service road to junction 33, where a change of direction will be made, and then vehicles will travel on the service road in the ascending direction.
