
This Wednesday, the program for the 2025 Holy Week in Alcalá de Henares, declared National Tourist Interest Festival, was presented.
Following this official presentation in Complutense soil, there will be another one on March 22nd in Cáceres. It was the people from Extremadura who visited Alcalá de Henares in 2024 to celebrate their Holy Week.
Both Alcalá and Cáceres are World Heritage Cities and both also, as the organizers of the celebrations assure, share a cultural and religious heritage.

The focus of the celebrations will be the 14 processions with the Way of the Cross of the Magistral Cathedral, which this year will include a route through the Francisco de Vitoria Senior Residence.
Sacred and processional music have their own space in the Complutense Passion Week with two new festivals and over fifteen recitals.
Additionally, the new Cultural and Tourist Space of Holy Week in Alcalá will be inaugurated on Cardenal Sandoval y Rojas Street.

Completing this program is the exhibition at the Oidor Chapel of the Holy Week posters, along with the dioramas of the Passion by the Complutense Association of Nativity Scene Artists.
