
A 69-year-old man has died this morning after crashing the truck he was driving into another truck on the A-2 highway in the municipality of Alcalá de Henares, as reported by a spokesperson from Emergencias Comunidad de Madrid 112 to Europa Press.
The incident occurred around 7 am this Monday at kilometer 27 of the highway, heading towards Madrid, for reasons that are currently under investigation by the Guardia Civil de Tráfico.
Immediately, a team from the Fire Department of the Comunidad de Madrid, Guardia Civil, and medical personnel from Summa 112 arrived at the scene.

Upon arrival, responders found that the driver of the light truck was already deceased. He was a 69-year-old man who had to be extricated by the Comunidad de Madrid firefighters.
Summa has confirmed the fatality. The driver of the other articulated truck was unharmed.
