The neighborhood of Los Gorriones in Alcalá de Henares has been the scene of a violent fight, where improper parking sparked a series of assaults that left a middle-aged woman on the ground and her husband trying to dodge the blows of a man armed with a stick.
According to witnesses, the situation quickly turned chaotic, turning a simple dispute over a poorly parked car into an episode of brutality. «There was a car parked on the corner and another one blocking its way out. They had been honking for a while; I started hearing blows and everything, I looked out and they were hitting each other,» a neighbor tells us.
The conflict originated with a blue car owned by the aggressors, which blocked the exit of a gray vehicle, correctly parked and belonging to the assaulted couple.

«They are mostly problematic and then they are the first ones to leave their cars double-parked so that people can’t get out. Here, they usually release the handbrake and move the cars,» adds this neighbor. This lack of knowledge on the part of the affected couple about parking customs could have been the trigger for the confrontation.

As tensions seemed to calm down, the couple managed to start their vehicle and were preparing to leave the area. However, the situation escalated when a woman, frustrated by what had happened, tried to lift a manhole cover without success. Instead, she chose to grab a stone from a planter and throw it at the car as the couple left the area.
