The PP of Coslada has criticized that the City Council of the city will not open the municipal swimming pools located in the Polideportivo El Cerro for the time being.
From the City Council, they explained to EFE that this is due to a problem with a bacteria and that the indoor pools of the same complex will be opened, «that’s why the summer pool area is being opened,» they pointed out.
They have also assured that bathing will be allowed in the other pools gradually as the problems are resolved. Last year, these summer pools opened on June 15.
Fuenlabrada’s summer pools will open from this Wednesday
However, the PP argued in a statement that last Monday, June 16, the City Council stated that only two pools, the smallest ones, could be used from June 20.
On the night of Thursday, June 19, the City Council indicated that finally there would be no summer pools available.
On the municipal page of Polideportivo El Cerro, a notice from this Friday indicates that two summer pools and three winter pools will be available. It cites a break in the system on Calle Florencia as the origin of the problem.
IN ALCALÁ, WAITING
The PSOE of Alcalá de Henares has criticized the delay in the opening of several municipal pools. Specifically, those of Parque O’Donnell, El Juncal, and El Val. According to the socialists, the situation is particularly urgent these days with very high temperatures.
The Alcalá government (PP-Vox) has stated that the pools of El Val and El Juncal will open the last week of June, if weather and health conditions allow it.
