The Alcalá City Council has drawn 600 slots from the leisure and free time travel program for elderly residents in the municipality. The budget for this holiday program has increased by 42%, from 38,531.23 euros to 54,949.12 euros.
This Wednesday, the 28th, the final list of the winners of this program’s draw will be published. In this edition, following participants’ suggestions, the possibility of having a friend as a companion is included.
Includes round trip bus transportation from Alcalá to the hotel, seven days, with six nights in full board, in a double room to share
The Program organized by the Elderly Department includes transportation round trip by bus from Alcalá to the hotel, a seven-day stay, with six nights in full board including drinks, in a double room to share. This year’s offered destination is Roquetas del Mar in a 4-star hotel.
Accommodation in a single room will have a supplement established by the awarded company and will, in any case, be subject to availability of slots. Likewise, leisure and free time activities will also be scheduled during the stay, as well as local excursions, and a collective insurance policy
The trip price will depend on annual income, per family unit or cohabitation, as established in the program’s guidelines published on the Elderly website. The fee per person can range from 81 euros to 211 euros. The trips are scheduled to take place in September, October, and November.
