Last rehearsals of the BRIPAC in Alcalá to participate in this Easter procession
The O’Donnell Park has been chosen as the battlefield where an interactive military camp will be set up, including command posts, field hospitals, an exhibition of weapons and period equipment, as well as military vehicles to fully immerse us in this recreation that we can visit from 5:00 p.m.
The highlight of the event will take place at 1:30 p.m., with a spectacular recreation of the combat between the Allied troops and the German forces.
Uniformed soldiers will represent the allied armies of the United States, Great Britain, and Poland, who carried out this historic operation in an attempt to liberate the Netherlands from German occupation.
The ten Madrileños of ‘La Nueve’
Thanks to the participation of special effects specialists, the battle will feature smoke simulations, detonations, and artillery fire to give it maximum realism.
After a rest break, the event will continue at 6:00 p.m., with a second phase of the historical recreation. Once the confrontation is over, the public can continue exploring the camp and vehicles until 8:00 p.m. freely.
This spectacular event will take place in the O’Donnell park of Alcalá de Henares on February 21 and 22.
